If you don't include vitamin-rich food in your diet, your hairs will lose its natural color. Deficiency of vitamin B-12 can cause premature graying as it affects the pigmentation. Diet rich in vitamins help the follicles to produce melanin give your hairs color.

4. Genetics- A study published in 2016 proves that genes are primarily responsible for gray hairs, this means that it happens because it is within your family genes. Gray hair occurs because your body produces less melanin and when and how much melanin the body produces can also be determined by genetics.
