Lose excess weight- If you notice that the snoring issue has stated after you gained weight, then weight loss may be the solution for your snoring. Fat accumulation in your body makes blockage of fatty tissue in the neck or throat. To lose weight have a healthy diet & intake small portions of food. Include daily exercise that incorporate full body movements.

Treat allergies- Suffering from allergies also makes your nose block & forces you to breathe through your mouth. This is a cause for snoring. Consult a doctor or follow remedy for allergy to improve your condition and clear your nose.

Avoid alcohols- Try not to consume alcohol before bedtime as it can make you snore. It relaxes the resting tone of throat muscles causing you to snore. It also affects your sleep by waking you up several times at night& interferes with your sleep cycle.

Change your sleeping position- Do you feel comfortable to sleep on your back, trying switch to your sides as sleeping on back can increase the risk of snoring. This sleeping position makes tongue & soft palate to collapse back of your throat, blocking your airflow. Sleeping on your sides prevent this airflow blockage & makes breathing easier.
