How to reduce Menstrual Cramps Naturally

Menstruation happens every month as it prepares your body for pregnancy. Here's how it happens: The ovaries hold the egg and during menstruation cycle, the hormones make them mature. This means they can get fertilized by a sperm cell. So if the eggs get fertilized they start a pregnancy.

If pregnancy does not happen, the thick lining in your uterus breaks down and all the blood, nutrients & tissue flow out through your vagina and it is your periods.

Periods brings along cramps that are not only painful but makes you uncomfortable to walk, work or can also cause fatigue.
Reasons why we have menstrual cramps: The endometrial cells that form the lining of uterus make large amounts of prostaglandins. During periods these lining breaks that make prostaglandins to release. These prostaglandins are the cause of pain, constrict the blood vessels in the uterus, makes the muscle layer to contract and that results in painful cramps.

So here we will discuss some of the food & tips that help with the cramps.

In your menstruation, you feel to have something sweet but going for artificial sweets can provoke the cramp pain. So if you adapt to take natural sugars, a piece of fruit it will make you feel better, overcome your weakness and fatigue. Watermelon helps you to alleviate bloating and diarrhea.

During your periods consuming a diet rich in calcium & vitamin D helps you to relieve the pain & reduce the feeling of anxiety and depression. For these reasons, oranges are the best source to add it in your diet plan. They together help to regulate mood, ease pain and aches & acts as a muscle relaxant.

Having these menstrual cramps affects the woman's quality of life. In those days we prefer to lie down and sleep without doing any work. But it is not always possible and for that reason, ginger tea can help you to relieve your pain. Ginger has anti-inflammatory properties that provide you relief from inflammation and ease the cramps. Drink it 2-3 times a day to ease your pain.

Drink enough water-
